Knitting machine museum

Knitting machines have existed for over 400 years, longer than the sewing machine, and arrived in Sweden in 1723. In the museum, knitting machines from around 1800 and forward are displayed, including a few very old knitted garments and a respectable collection of instruction and pattern books. We are constantly building and changing the museum, but below are pictures of a few select items. We have approximately 30 knitting machines and accessories in our museum in Glemminge.
